There will be plenty of Italian food and everybody is welcome.

The West Village discussion group is open to anyone who loves to make new friends and find ways of improving personal or community life. The meetings have rotating facilitators who come up with specific subjects, but people who attend shape the conversation and this gives a different flavor to every meeting. The discussion is respectful, open, and creative and there is no pressure to contribute. Everybody is welcome.

There is a minimum $5 order per person.

Two classes:
*10 to 11 a.m.
*11 to 12 p.m.

For children up to 4 years old.
The class consists of play time, singing, puppet show and crafts.

$8 per class or $5 when you pay for two or more classes(sponsorships available).

Cancellation Policy:
If you are registered and you cannot attend the class you can transfer your registration to another day. To do this you have to call Symposia (201 963 0909) the day before the class or the fee is forfeited.

Openness, consideration and respect are the foundation elements of vibrant community experiences. The Symposia Conversation Project is an experiment in community dialogue where people of different beliefs and points of view can engage in meaningful discourse that enlightens, challenges and enriches the participants.

Food will be served at 7:30 and the conversation will start at 8 p.m.

Marilyn Mohr is the author of two volumes of poetry, Satchel (Cross Cultural Communications Press, Merrick, NY, 1992), and Running the Track (Aesopus Press, Woodstock, NY 1981). She has been published in numerous magazines and anthologies, and has performed her work on radio and television. In 1989, her poem, Tzena, was choreographed by the Avodah Dance Ensemble. Recent work has appeared in the Jewish Women�s Literary Annual, and forthcoming work will appear in Home Planet News.

A native New Yorker, she lived in Woodstock, NY, where she was co-editor of The Woodstock Poetry Review and The Catskill Poets� Series. She currently is the coordinator of a monthly reading series, The Poets� Forum, at the JCC of Metropolitan New Jersey.
