Book Signing Launch! “Veil of Seduction” by local writer Emily Dinova – Saturday Feb 4h  5 to 7 pm

Local Hoboken author Emily Dinova, along with copies of her debut novel Veil of Seduction, are coming to Symposia to kick off her inaugural book signing!

There will be snacks and drinks. And we’re not talking about protein bars and tap water. We’re talking meats, cheeses, and Prosecco. Have yourself a literary happy hour!

Meet Emily. Buy a book. Get an autograph. Talk to her about art, writing, her inspirations and processes. Eat. Drink. Be Merry.

Emily has lived in Hoboken for 9 years and could not be more excited to begin this journey in her current stomping grounds.

Oh! And about that dark and decadent novel:

Morning Falls Asylum. Many women have been sent there. None have returned.

Until now…

So check it out. If you dare.

La Leche league is an international volunteer run support group open to all families interested in lactating or providing human milk to their babies.

La Leche League was founded over 60 years ago when the founders (a small group of mothers) found that families were most successful when supported by their peers and it has continued with the premises of providing non bias support to local families.

NEW! “Philosophize This” – Conversation Group based on Stephen West’s podcast with the same name – Tuesday Feb 21st at 7 pm

This deeply engaging series introduces listeners to thinkers and ideas upon which our society is based, but in a way that is easy for non-philosophers to digest and understand.

Our discussion group will create a safe environment where we can gain knowledge while also sharing personal experiences as they relate to the topics presented in the podcast.

Listening to the episodes 3, 4 and 5 of the podcast is strongly recommended if possible.
