Symposia Community Bookstore Upcoming Events

510 Washington St, Hoboken NJ

“What I say is, a town isn’t a town without a bookstore. It may call itself a town, but unless it’s got a bookstore, it knows it’s not foolin’ a soul”. Neil Gaiman, American Gods (American Gods, #1)

Open Mic Night
Thursday, November 18 at 7:30pm
Suggested Donation: $5

You know you’re talented. It’s the way you tell a joke, the emotional reaction you elicit when you read poetry, and no one can bang out a tune like you do.

Now, it’s time to show the world and it all starts with the Open Mic at Symposia. While it’s not a definite that record producers or other talent scouts will be there, it is a certainty that the crowd is easy and the snacks are salty. So come out and share 15 minutes of your best material and bask in the mutual appreciation of your gifted neighbors.
