“Philosophize This” – Conversation Group based on Stephen West’s podcast with the same name – Tuesday July 18th at 7 pm
This deeply engaging series introduces listeners to thinkers and ideas upon which our society is based, but in a way that is easy for non-philosophers to digest and understand.
Our discussion group will create a safe environment where we can gain knowledge while also sharing personal experiences as they relate to the topics presented in the podcast.
Listening to the episodes 13, 14 and 15 of the podcast is strongly recommended if possible.

Specialty Yoga Class With Rebel Yogi Satya – Friday July 21st and 28th 5 to 7 pm
Babaji’s Kriya Hatha Yoga is part of a system that is designed for Self-Realization rather than gymnastics. Over two classes open to all levels you will learn the 18 postures of the system. (Each class will be complete in itself, so you can attend one or both!) Postures pair forward bends with backbends, followed by a full rest after each posture to explore the circulating energy. In addition to physical postures, there will be a focus on the breath, bandhas (muscular/energetic locks) and chakras. Each class will include a guided meditation as well as a dharma talk. The tools learned can be added to your current yoga practice and life. A booklet ($10) and a book ($20) will be available for those who want to dive deeper into the system and their yoga practice.
Satya has been teaching yoga since 2006. He was first initiated into Babaji’s Kriya Yoga in 2003.
