Trail includes Tripod Rock, a big rock carried by a glacier and left to rest on three little rocks (or a sundial built by Paleolithic humans – we’ll decide). Wear sturdy shoes for the rocky paths, warm layers to take off and put on as you warm up/cool down, and bring snacks, lunch, and at least 1L of water. Here’s our hike: http://www.localhikes.com/Hikes/PyramidMtn_5602.asp How: We’ll drive from Hoboken. Here are directions: 495 W –> Rt. 3 W; 10.5 miles slight right onto 46 W; 3.6 miles 23 N: In Butler, take Boonton Avenue exit (County Road 511 South). Follow 4.4 miles past Taylortown Reservoir on your right. Turn RIGHT into Pyramid Mountain entrance. ~15 miles PLEASE RSVP BY WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH.
