Spoken Word Series – featured poets and open mi

  • Event organized by David Vicenti and Siobhan Barry-Bratcher Presenting artists from academia and industry, with voices from traditional to modern, co-hosts Siobhan Barry-Bratcher and David Vincenti will introduce you to a panorama of poetry that will stretch not only your view of the art, but your view of your world as well. Each featured writer will read selections from their collection and then the microphone will open to the public to share their work. This series is at 3pm on the first Sunday of each month at Symposia Bookstore, 510 Washington St., Hoboken (unless otherwise noted). All events in this series are open to the public and free – with a suggested donation of $3.     • Join us for an evening celebrating DIY print from across the Hudson River! Welcome Eric Nelson, Andria Alefhia, Cassie J. Sneider, Gus Iverson and Veronica Liu as they read short segments of their work. Eric Nelson is author of the newly released short story collection “The Silk City Series” (Knickerbocker Circus Publishing) and has contributed to magazines and other publications. Andria Alefhi is editor of the female-run zine “We’ll Never Have Paris.” Cassie J. Sneider, Gus Iverson and Veronica Liu have written zines such as “Scrappy J,” and “ILOAN Books.”
