Information: Aldous Huxley said that every man’s memory is his private literature. This literature may include the big events we all share and the small events only we could notice: the moments which made us happy or sad; the loves, the friendships and dreams, and, the hiding places and the rainstorms that we thought would never end. Consisting of games, exercises and discussion, “The Memory Workshop” is designed to encourage each participants ability to remember and share his or her own private literature-for the sake of joy and gratitude and to create new and lasting memories for the chapters yet to be written. The Memory Workshop will be facilitated by Andrew Lerner, Ph.D. Dr. Lerner has worked as a school psychologist, therapist, consultant and has taught courses in Cognition and Learning Theory. He is presently working on a book about long-term memory.
