Information: Haber: How the father of modern agriculture became the father of chemical warfare.

Come see Haber, a 30-minute historical drama that tells the story of Fritz Haber, one of the greatest humanitarian scientists of the century who ended up inventing chemical weapons during World War l.

Starring some of the best known actors in Europe, this independent short film has never been screened before in public and it is being test screened for the first time. The writer/director and editor will be present for a discussion after the screening.

Folk, Jazz & Blues with Barbara Beeman & Bill Bannon

Information: Barbara Beeman & Bill Bannon recently performed folk, jazz & blues tunes at the Brennan Coffeehouse at the Courthouse as the opening act for folksinger Johnsmith. Beeman & Bannon were the first act to perform at the Courthouse which was originated under the auspices of the County Executive Tom De Gise.

Beeman & Bannon have been regulars at the Networking Cafe in Bayonne and have performed eclectic folk/blues for decades at various locations in Hoboken, Jersey City and New York City. From Barnes & Noble to the Bitter End, they have performed on stages & cafe floors for the sheer pleasure of making music.
